How We Make Money
Glueless Wig Guide is reader-supported. We buy every wig we review with our own money — no free products, no brand sponsorships. Here's how we fund our testing:
- Amazon Associates — As an Amazon Associate (tag: fixmyping-20), we earn from qualifying purchases when you buy wigs, wig accessories, or related products through our links.
- CJ Affiliate — VPN Services — Some pages feature VPN recommendations through CJ Affiliate (Merchant 101801083: NordVPN, Surfshark) for readers concerned about online privacy while shopping.
- Google AdSense — Display advertising appears on some pages. Revenue is based on impressions and clicks.
Wigs aren't cheap — our testing costs thousands of dollars per year. Affiliate commissions and advertising help us keep buying wigs and publishing honest reviews without charging readers or accepting brand money.
Our Commitment to Independence
We take our independence deadly seriously. Here's our ironclad policy:
- We buy every wig we review. No brand can send us a free wig in exchange for a review. We decline all such offers.
- No paid placements. Ever. Rankings are based on our 30-day wear tests, not on commission rates or brand relationships.
- Affiliate commissions do not influence ratings. If a wig gets a 4/5 or a 2/5, that's because of how it performed in our tests — full stop.
- Negative reviews stay published. If a wig tangles, sheds, or the lace doesn't blend, you'll read about it. We never take down a negative review at a brand's request.
